Aaron Wright is a blockchain legal expert and Ethereum contributor, instrumental in developing the legal framework for Ethereum's 2015 launch. He co-founded OpenLaw (now part of Tribute Labs, where he serves as CEO).

A professor at Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, he directs the Cardozo Blockchain Project, chairs the Enterprise Ethereum Alliance's Legal Advisory Working Group, and co-authored the seminal book Blockchain and the Law: The Rule of Code (Harvard University Press, 2018).
